CLASSES OFFERED

As part of its mission, the Center for Children promotes community education and prevention topics, providing many of these options free of charge to community members and clients in separate forums.

The Center for Children offers the Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children program.

Stewards of Children®, a Darkness to Light program, is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth, parents/caregivers, and for individuals concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.

The Center has provided the new 2.0 curriculum since 2023. This class is free to all community members.
